Digital Logic
An introductory course in Digital Logic, number systems and coding, logic design, sequential systems, register transfer language. Basic collage algebra
and electrical engineering concepts in voltage, current, power, and resistance should be understood prior to the start of this course. The overall
educational objective for the Introduction to Digital Logic will explore principles and techniques of digital components and systems. Boolean algebra,
binary logical functions, logic statements, Venn diagrams and truth tables, logic gates, logic circuits, switches, cascading logic circuits, timing
and delays, and logic circuit design are discussed in the lecture course; practical digital logic applications are enforced by the corequisite,
Digital Logic Laboratory.
