Digital Systems Lab
Digital Systems Laboratory experiments to verify theoretical concepts discussed in the
lecture course Digital Systems. Sequential circuits designed, constructed, simulated,
analyzed, and tested; hand calculations, and computer simulations utilizing available
hardware components and 3 instrumentation. PLAs, ROMs, and other LSI devices used.
Digital Systems, Binary system, Karnaugh Maps, truth tables, Boolean expression, K-Maps,
logic gates, discrete value system, digital fundamentals, decimal, binary, hexadecimal,
conversions, number systems, arithmetic operations, BCD code, parity bit, LSB, least
significant bit, Boolean algebra, DeMorgan's Laws, commutative laws, associative laws,
distributive laws, simplification theorems, SOP or POS, decoders and multiplexers,
