Introduction to Microcontrollers
This course is designed to introduce students to the architecture and operation of microcontrollers; specifically the Motorola 68HC11. Students
will gain an understanding of computer arithmetic, operations, memories, RW, ROM, EPROM, memory systems, hardware configuration, 68HC11, 68HC12,
data rates, data transfers, indexing, registers, addressing, modes, logic instructions, branches, stacks, subroutines, and interrupts. In addition,
students will apply what they have learned in the adjoining laboratory course using the Motorola 68HC11 trainer, Introduction to Microcontrollers Lab.
