Microprocessor Systems
Advanced topics of sixteen and thirty-two bit microprocessor systems and microcontrollers are introduced for the Motorola 68HC11 Microcontroller.
Lecture topics include internal architecture and system environment, busses, ALU, registers, control unit, I/O structure, interrupts, and assembly
language programming; advanced numerical routines, external memory, I/O devices, co-processors, USARTS, and other peripheral devices. Laboratory
microcontroller trainers are used to verify the students grasp of the lecture material in the Microcontroller Systems Lab.
