Network Analysis

Applications of LaPlace Transform in first and second order networks; poles, zeros and stability in S-plane; active filters and oscillators. System stability, harmonics, periodic signals, and transient response are discussed. Laplace Transform, stable, unstable, marginally stable, harmonic, radian frequency, waveform odd function, even function, step response, RLC circuit, transform function, poles, zeros, s-plane, step-input, under damped, over damped, undamped, square wave, Sallen-Key filter, bode plot, magnitude and phase, steady state, phase-lead, phase-lag, inverse laplace transform, transfer function. Throughout the lecture course students will be expected to apply the material to practical experiments in the laboratory section Network Analysis Lab.
