Telecommunications II
Digital communication systems are introduced to the student in this lecture course; the third communications fundamentals
course in this series. Sampling theorems and discrete vs. continuous signals are reviewed, baseband digital systems, noise
sources in digital communication systems, waveforms, digital filters, FIR and IIR, raised cosine and matched filters, modulation
and demodulation techniques, and spectrum transmissions are explored. Prerequisites are Telecommunications I and Microwave Amplifiers.
